Ladybugs are one of the best known beneficial insects for controlling pests on everything you grow! A widely used, cost effective alternative to other treatments, ladybugs are easy-to-release and have a great reputation as generalist predators. Collected and prepared for shipment, live ladybugs are a useful addition to most gardens and farms. Simply release them in areas of pest activity and allow them to do the work. Avoid spraying pesticides or fungicides while ladybugs are active for best control.

Benefits of Ladybugs:

  • Shipped to you in the adult stage ready to feed.
  • General predators that will feed on most soft-bodied pest insects.
  • Each adult can consume up to 5,000 aphids in a lifetime.
  • The larvae eat 50-60 aphids per day.

Optimum Temperatures: 62°-88°F

Tip: Help keep ladybugs around and attract native species by planting perennial and annual flowering plants (Good Bug Power Blend) and by avoiding chemical sprays whenever possible. Control ants before releasing ladybugs. Ants will protect honeydew producing insects and can reduce ladybug success.
